Tattoo removal with Pico laser – clean skin without marks

Tattoo removal with Pico laser is the most effective and modern method of getting rid of unwanted ink on the skin. Pico laser produces very short light pulses (picoseconds) that break up ink particles into smaller pieces than traditional lasers. This allows:

• Faster treatment process
• Fewer treatment sessions
• Less heat and skin irritation
• Better results also for colored tattoos

The ink particles are gradually removed through the body's lymphatic system. The treatment does not damage the skin, and the skin heals naturally over time. We use a cold pack during the treatment to reduce pain and redness.

Tattoo removal usually requires:
• 4–10 treatments
• Treatment interval approximately 6–8 weeks
• The number of treatments depends on the amount of ink, colors and skin type, among other things.

• Do not use self-tanning products on the tattoo area.

FAQs

What is Pico laser and why is it better?

The Pico laser produces pulses of light at a speed of picoseconds (trillionths of a second). It breaks up the ink into very small particles, allowing them to be more effectively removed from the body. The treatment is faster, more precise and causes less skin irritation than traditional lasers.

Does tattoo removal hurt?

During the treatment, you may feel a slight pinching or heat sensation, but the cold pack effectively relieves the sensations. The treatment is well tolerated by most clients.

How many treatments are needed?

Often 4–10 treatments are needed. Black ink removal is fastest, colored tattoos often require more treatments.

Can a tattoo be completely removed?

Most of the time yes, especially black and dark tattoos. Colored tattoos may require more treatments, and some shades (e.g. green, yellow) may not be visible.

Is Pico laser safe?

Yes. The Pico laser is very precise and causes less thermal effects on the skin than traditional lasers. This means less risk of scarring or pigment changes.

Can I return to everyday life immediately after treatment?

Yes, you can return to your normal daily life. However, avoid saunas, sports and sunlight for the first few days.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

The treatment is suitable for you if:

• You want to remove or lighten a tattoo

• You do not have a skin infection or active rash in the treatment area

• You are not pregnant or breastfeeding

• You have not been exposed to the sun in the treatment area in recent weeks
