PRP plasma treatment for hair loss

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment, i.e. plasma treatment, is a versatile form of treatment that can prevent hair loss and promote new hair growth in thinned hair areas. PRP plasma treatment is a good solution when hair loss is a concern.

Hair loss can happen for many different reasons. The most common are heredity, stress, depression, mental illness, post-natal illnesses/traumas and side effects of various medications. However, PRP is effective regardless of the background.

Plasma is rich in platelets that contains plenty of growth factors that start the repair process in the skin and nourishing stem cells. The treatment is best suited for treating thinning hair, slowing down or stopping the progression of hair loss, and promoting hair growth after a hair transplant.

For both men and women and for all types of hair loss.

PRP treatment prevents hair loss. As a result of the treatment, the hair grows faster and thicker. The treatment also strengthens the structure of the new hair.

First, a blood sample is taken from your elbow. The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge for a few minutes. This is how blood cells and plasma are separated from each other. Next, the treatment provider collects in syringes the part of the plasma that contains a lot of platelets and growth factors. This plasma part is injected into the area to be treated using tens of micro-injections.

  • Avoid unnecessary touching of the treated area for 12 hours.
  • Saunas and sweat sports are prohibited for a few days.
  • Protect the treated area from the sun for two weeks (SPF 50).
  • Do not proceed with aesthetic treatments for the same area for 2 weeks to 2 months.
